Graduating from Valley College has changed my life by providing me with the opportunity to become a CCMA through online courses and minimal in-person labs. The faculty at Valley College helped me by providing support throughout my tenure with Valley College with encouragement, technical support, navigating life and school, and helping to obtain everything needed to get through my externship hours and begin a career as a CCMA. One thing I learned about myself at Valley College is I can do difficult things!

One thing I learned about myself at Valley College is that when I put my mind to something I want done, my perseverance kicks in. I know that if I start a task or set a goal, I will finish it. No matter how stressful life gets or how much it tries to throw me off that path, I just remain humble and remind myself that everything isn’t just a walk in the park—it takes hard work and practice to achieve things. I’m proud to say I didn’t give up, because it shows me that the sky is really the limit for me, and I’m willing to complete and finish anything I put myself into.

Despite battling a nerve disease, losing my sister to cancer, and facing multiple surgeries in my family, I never gave up on my dream of working in the medical field. Valley College’s flexibility and support helped me push through every obstacle. My persistence paid off—not only did I earn my degree, I became Salutatorian. Challenges didn’t stop me—they fueled me. Choosing Valley College was the first step toward real change.

One thing I’ve learned about myself at Valley College is that I am more determined and self-motivated than I thought. I created and followed a schedule for assignments while also managing a household with five children.

Valley has been a great success for me. I completed three degrees with Valley College, and I have enjoyed going to school here and everything I have learned!

Graduating from Valley College has changed my life for the better. I now have a job that I have always wanted and I have a better work/life balance as well. The faculty was in my corner from the moment I went in to learn about the program to the day I graduated. The faculty and the professors were my biggest support team, from the encouraging words from my student success coach to how the professors wanted to see you succeed and would do anything they could to make sure it happened (if you were showing them you wanted to learn). Without them I wouldn’t have had the courage to keep pushing myself. One thing I learned about myself while attending Valley College is that even though I had doubts about whether I could do this, I never gave up. I never thought I would be smart enough to have a career in the medical field, but I found out that I can do anything I want to if I work for it. Things never came easy to me and at the times I wanted to quit, I dug deep and pushed myself to what felt like the limit, and it was the limit for me, but I had to push past what I thought I could do. NOW I HAVE A CAREER THAT I ALWAYS WANTED THANKS TO VALLEY COLLEGE!!

Graduating from Valley College changed my life by proving I am stronger than every obstacle I’ve faced. With the support of the faculty, I learned to believe in myself and discovered that no matter the odds, I have what it takes to succeed. During one of the hardest times in my life—when I was uncertain about my future and even considered moving out of state—Valley College became the steady foundation I didn’t know I needed. The structure of the classes and the unwavering support of the staff gave me purpose, grounded me, and helped me persevere. I finished with a 4.0 GPA and, more importantly, a renewed sense of confidence that has reshaped my future.
