The Martinsburg Campus was honored to prepare and serve a hot meal at the local Rescue Mission for the hungry and homeless. The staff and students were able to prepare and serve the meal which consisted of: rotini, meatballs, breadsticks, fresh salad, mashed potatoes, fresh fruit salad, and a pudding desert. The students were also able to donate 17 coats, 15 blankets, and 100 travel bags filled with essential hygiene products. The students and staff ended up serving 84 individuals who all expressed their deepest thanks. Campus Director Carriss LaBelle stated, “It was an amazingly rewarding experience and we all look forward to doing it again. I have never attended a more rewarding event where every one of the students and staff left with such a wonderful feeling.”
